Connected or offline, SilverLight "apps" will be able to run outside the browser. Accenture is presenting its Business TV on-stage. Business TV is originally a browser app, but using the same codebase, Accenture has been able to create a desktop application. In offline mode, the desktop application uses previously cached content, and manages to keep track of the view statistics and so on... The only missing functionality is the "deep zoom" on large images.This works on Windows and Mac OS.
